The SafeTag Grey is for bike owners who prefer an understated look. The same adhesive, tamper-resistance and registration link as the Original — only in a subtle grey tone that blends seamlessly with modern, minimalist bike design.
The grey SafeTag is just as effective as a deterrent the moment thieves or passers-by recognise it as a SafeTag. For QR scanning it works identically.
How does this work?

Register your bike for free in the BIKEBAZE® database.

Activate the SafeTags from your account.

Stick the SafeTags: clean the surface and remove any grease. Attach the large sticker visibly to your frame and the small one to your battery or another part of your bike.

Prevent theft: the grey sticker deters thieves and marks your bike as protected.

Scan function in case of theft: report your bike as stolen in your account. Anyone who scans the QR code, looks up the frame number or the SafeTag ID immediately sees that the bike is registered as stolen and can contact you. You automatically receive the scan location.

SafeTag Protect is an invisible top layer you stick over your SafeTag, built for high-friction spots, rain or dirt. It extends the lifespan of your SafeTag without making removal any harder.
- Transparent: your SafeTag stays fully visible and scannable
- Protects against scratches, dirt and weather
- Your SafeTag remains just as hard to remove. Protect has no effect on tamper resistance and does not make it stronger.
