What is the starting price for Univé bike insurance?+

Bike insurance with Univé starts from €2.27 per month for a regular bike. The final premium depends on age, place of residence and the purchase value of the bike; for e-bikes the rate is slightly higher.

Which lock is required by Univé?+

For bikes up to €3,500, one ART-approved 2-star lock is required. For e-bikes and bikes with a purchase value above €3,500, two ART-approved 2-star locks are required.

What should I do if my bike is stolen?+

File a police report immediately after discovery and keep the case number and the official report. Then report the theft online in Mijn Univé and hand in the original bike keys to Univé.

What deductible does Univé apply?+

For damage, the standard deductible is €50. For theft, you can choose between €0, €100, €250 or €500.

How do I contact Univé in case of damage to my bike?+

You can report a claim 24/7 via Mijn Univé. For breakdowns or emergencies, call the emergency centre on +31 592 348 112; for other claim questions, call +31 592 349 340 on weekdays from 08:30-18:00 and Saturday from 09:30-16:00.
