# Transfer of ownership

Want to transfer your bike to someone else? You can do that easily via your account.

## How to change owner

-   Start in your account
    
    Go to your account and navigate to 'Transfer bike'. You'll find this action on the bike you want to transfer.
    

-   Fill in the details
    
    Select the right bike and fill in the new owner's details.
    

-   Confirmation by email
    
    Both you and the new owner receive an email to confirm the transfer. The bike only moves once both of you agree.
    

-   Transfer complete
    
    Once both of you have confirmed, the bike is automatically moved to the new owner's account. You both receive a confirmation email.
