# Your proof of ownership is now in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, always up to date

Put your bike's proof of ownership in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. The pass works as a digital proof of ownership and updates automatically: report your bike as stolen and it shows on the pass right away.

## The situation

You need your proof of ownership at unexpected moments: during a sales conversation, at a check, or right after your bike has been stolen. Digging up a PDF in your email or downloads takes time, and a printed document is out of date the moment something changes.

So we are bringing the proof of ownership to the place where you always have it with you: your phone.

## What we built

A **digital ownership pass for Apple Wallet and Google Wallet**, linked to your bike registration. The content is identical on both platforms. On the front you see at a glance:

- your **SafeTag ID**, name, **frame number** and battery number(s)
- the brand and model of your bike
- the current **status**: "Not stolen" or "STOLEN"
- a QR code at the bottom: anyone who scans the pass lands directly in the [public frame number check](https://app.bikebaze.nl/scan) with the number already filled in

On the back of the pass you find all the details of your bike: type, colour, electric or not, your batteries, the estimated value, and whether your bike is insured and where. Below that are direct shortcuts to the app: **report your bike as stolen** (or as recovered, once the status flips) and **log a maintenance service**. So you have not only your proof at hand, but also the most important actions.

Most importantly: the pass is **always up to date**. Every change to your registration is pushed to the pass automatically. Report your bike as stolen and you get a notification on your lock screen, with the status shown on the pass right away. Sell your bike and your pass expires, while the new owner gets their own copy.

The Wallet pass is available for bikes with an **active SafeTag**. The PDF export remains available for every registration.

## How it works

1. Go to [app.bikebaze.nl](https://app.bikebaze.nl) and open your bike
2. Click "Export proof of ownership"
3. Choose Apple Wallet (on iPhone) or Google Wallet (on Android); you automatically see the option that matches your phone
4. The pass is in your Wallet right away and stays up to date automatically from now on
