## Frequently asked questions

How long does Centraal Beheer reimburse the purchase value of your bike? +

By default, you receive the purchase value back up to 1 year after purchase. For an additional fee, you can extend the purchase-value arrangement to 3 years. After that, the current market value minus residual value applies, with a maximum of € 10,000.

What is your deductible with Centraal Beheer? +

The standard deductible is € 25 per event. For theft of the entire bike with this deductible, you pay no deductible. You can also choose a deductible of € 150 or € 300 to lower your premium.

Which lock should you use for your bike insurance with Centraal Beheer? +

Centraal Beheer requires an ART-approved lock with at least 2 stars. The original keys must be available in the event of theft and the key number must match the policy. Electronic locks do not provide theft coverage.

Is the battery of your e-bike included as standard? +

Yes, the battery of your e-bike is included as standard. The bike insurance applies to e-bikes with pedal assistance up to and including 25 km/h. Speed pedelecs fall under the Moped Insurance.

Does your Centraal Beheer Bike Insurance also apply abroad? +

For theft and damage, coverage is worldwide. Roadside assistance is only available in the Netherlands and up to 30 kilometres across the border.
